The contents of www.horseheroshop.com may not be copied, reproduced, duplicated, sold, downloaded or distributed by any means to third parties without our express written consent. You may copy or print details for the sole purpose of using www.horseheroshop.com while connected to the Internet.
You must not use www.horseheroshop.com in any way that causes, or is likely to cause www.horseheroshop.com or access to it to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way.
You must not use www.horseheroshop.com for fraudulent purposes, spamming or any unlawful activity.

Making A Purchase
This is simple. Just browse our shop and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on My Basket and then click on Pay. You will be asked for your card details so we can complete your transaction. Alternatively, having seen a single product you with to purchase, just click on Pay.
We accept the credit and debit cards shown in the payment section of the shop. If you are shopping from outside the UK, when you place your order your card company will convert the transaction into your local currency. There is a link to a currency converter on the payment page of the site. By using this, you can get an indication of the cost in your local currency before you make a purchase. The exact amount, however, will be subject to the exchange rate prevailing at the time of the transaction.
We will confirm by email that we have received your order and confirm the items you have purchased. We will notify you of your shop account details, so you can track the progress of your order (depending on the method of delivery) and login again without re-registering on the shop. We will email to tell you when we are about to dispatch your goods.
If we have made a mistake in pricing, eg. inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason, we will contact you to ensure that the new price is acceptable.
When the order is placed at www.horseheroshop.com, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any web site. We use Paypal to process customers’ payments on our behalf, using the latest security standards & industry compliance checks.
Delivery and handling charges are indicated at the point of sale and are based on the weight of your goods. UK orders are sent by recorded delivery. International orders are sent by air mail.
We will normally dispatch your order within five business days of your purchase, for products such as DVDs. However, if you are purchasing bespoke leather products such as the cavesson and lunge rope, they are made to order and take 6-8 weeks.
You must inform us within two working days of receipt of goods if any goods are damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery service, where appropriate, and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence and retain the damaged item and all the packaging for at least 30 days in case the delivery company may wish to inspect it.
You agree that proof of delivery where supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received. Claims for items not received must be notified to us within 28 days of your original order date.
We aim to hold stock of DVDs and a number of other items. But where we hold limited stock of bespoke items or items are made to order, eg. Horse Hero leatherwork, we aim for these items to be sent within 14 days. Should there be any delay, we will contact you and give you the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Goods ordered from us for delivery outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes which are normally levied once the parcel reaches its destination country. Any charges for customs must be paid by you. We have no control over these charges as customs policies vary from country to country. Please contact your local customs officer for full details and regulations.
Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders.
b. Administer and enhance www.horseheroshop.com and its service.
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes.
d. Notify you about special offers and products we feel you may be interested in if you have requested this (you can opt out of these messages at any time).
e. Issue a unique customer login.
f. Monitor customer account status beyond that required for individual purchases returns policy.
Your right to return goods is protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive. You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. You do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or mis-described.
Any goods returned should be unopened unless you are returning them because they are faulty. Please note underwear cannot be returned or refunded and no refunds are available on gift vouchers. Computer software, DVD's, CD's & Videos can only be accepted for returns when the original shrink wrap packaging is still intact. An order for personalised or special order items cannot be cancelled once the order has been processed.
Due to health and safety regulations and the hygienic problems involved with the inspection of footwear and horse clothing, we are unable to handle and inspect any item unless it is clean and dry.
Change of Terms
We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future. Our current terms are reflected in this document.
None of these terms affects your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to the minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
